If you’re working remotely, why not just launch a screen session:

# screen

Then do:

# ifdown eth0; ifup eth0

Then you’ll still be disconnected, but eth0 will be brought back up in the screen session, so you can then log back on straight away.

I just setup centos few week ago, and buzy until now, when I try to access “System => Administration => Network”. it prompt up a password request.

even i try the administration password, but still unable to enter. Still figure out how to make it
